As someone who has spent thousands on fad diets and personal trainers, I can unequivocally share that working with Anna has been my most effective and fiscally responsible choice regarding fitness and nutrition. Anna’s common-sense approach empowers you with the tools to sustain success on your own.

 

I met Anna as my trainer after I gained nearly 90 pounds through an emotional downward spiral over six years. Working out while out of shape is daunting, but I hit rock bottom and had no choice but to find the courage to change. My initial embarrassment was compounded because I struggled to make it through a simple warm-up. However, I kept going and made a little progress with each workout. Anna’s experience as a former high-level competitive athlete and vast knowledge as a certified trainer gives her confidence, not arrogance. Anna coaches the proper technique of each exercise to maximize efficiency and prevent injury but quickly adapts movements for those that need modifications.  Most importantly, Anna genuinely relates to each person and pushes clients to their limits because she cares. Somehow, Anna makes the most challenging moments seem doable because she reassures you that you’re capable.  

Because my confidence grew through fitness under Anna, I also began to see her as my nutritionist. Anna’s nutritional guidance complimented my exercise routine and accelerated my progress overall. My relationship with food is complex, so the check-in meetings have been critical in developing a healthy mindset regarding my choices. I’m learning to have a more balanced approach to food because Anna reminds me that food is simply energy. It’s challenging to detangle unhealthy beliefs and understand that there are no good or bad foods, but through Anna's program, I'm learning how to recognize my obsessive and compulsive habits. I'm held accountable to make better choices and now realize that it's possible to have a balanced diet and achieve weight loss.

I first met Coach Anna Schoener in early 2018 at Orangetheory Folsom. She was the Head Coach for Orangetheory Folsom and Eldorado Hills. At Orangetheory the Coach is just like a conductor of an orchestra. During a 50 minute session she was setting the music, cadence, directions to members on the treadmills, rowers and floor, speaking words of encouragement and correction of improper form. As a Coach at Orangetheory she definitely possessed something special.                         

  CONFIDENCE AND CALMNESS 

    Then in 2021 we were stunned and upset to learn that she was leaving Orangetheory for a new venture with ISI ELITE TRAINING. I did the only logical thing to do and I followed my Coach's lead. I joined ISI. For 8 months our ISI workouts were outdoors. Coach Anna would design the templates for these workouts! We would utilize a variety of bands, kettlebells, dumbbells, sliders on mats and body weight exercises. And again she was the conductor but now it was to her own templates. During this time I saw and developed a true appreciation for her knowledge of the human body at work. In addition she was a pivotal person who was building and promoting the ISI business for opening. As a Coach, Designer and Promoter she possessed something special.    

 KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ADAPTABLE 

     Recently in the past 8 months I decided to take my fitness journey to the next level. Nutrition. Now I track my food on Cronometer. Calories, Protein, Carbohydrates, Fat and my favorite Fiber. To put it very simply. We are what we eat. I know that in this culture of excess these are  very unpopular concepts. How dare you tell me that I have to be on a food budget, track it and be accountable. Coach Anna is my nutrition coach. She designs my very own nutritional game plan. As a Nutrition Coach she definitely possesses something special. Somebody who could designs her own Pop Tart nutrition game plan and loses 20 lbs herself has an excellent grasp of food and planning.   

INNOVATIVE AND INSPIRING

    Personally I could not recommend someone more highly to assist you to become a better physical version of yourself. Who would not want to be guided by an individual who has confidence, calmness, knowledgeable, adaptable, innovative and inspiring. You wrap up all of those traits and add a beautiful smile and I would like you to meet my coach.
