So you’re out on the internet, scouring for information on the latest in fitness & health.
Where do you start? Who do you follow? There are countless websites out there offering advice – some good, some bad, some down right horrendous.
Why waste time? I’ve put together a list of the best of the best health & fitness bloggers below that you can check out.
I did the research and a fair bit of digging to make sure these were all the best in the realm of both written and video blogging about fitness and health. Please note that some of the links below are affiliate links I earn money from if any products are purchased. But now, onto the list!
I have to put Jason first. His Renegade Diet really took my health & fitness to the next level – losing 30kg (66lbs) of fat!
Jason is also one of the internet’s best and most popular fitness bloggers who specializes in putting slabs of muscle onto skinny guys. He’s been featured in some of the biggest magazines in the world like Men’s Fitness, Men’s Health, Muscle & Fitness and even on ESPN.
His focus on maximizing your results while maintaining excellent health. He takes all of the pieces and puts them together with a ‘no bullshit’ personality.
Mark’s Daily Apple has been one of the world’s most popular health & fitness websites for many years, and it’s easy to see why.
Mark Sisson is a guy in his 60’s with the ripped midsection most guy guys never attain. He does this through his primal diet and lifestyle. He’s one of the most knowledgeable experts on the planet and I can’t help but recommend his Primal Blueprint book as a way to get started on a paleo/primal lifestyle.
This is one blogger not to gloss over!
Jessi Kneeland is woman behind Remodel Fitness, and a health & fitness blog that helps women everywhere get in shape with a body-positive focus.
She is considered to be one of the best women’s fitness expert bloggers out there and also offers a solid coaching service.
She has been featured in a lot of top publications like Women’s Fitness, health, Shape and Instyle (to name only a few).
Cassey is one of YouTube’s most popular fitness bloggers.
She has been running Blogilates for years and has one of the biggest followings on the internet with workouts, advice and even some videos on positive self image – trying not to achieve unrealistic standards that can be harmful to your mental health.

After years as powerful athlete, Robb was diagnosed with an Auto immune illness. With a tonne of research and experimentation he was able to minimize the effects and get back to a normal life as a fit and healthy man.
Vince Delmonte is one of the most successful online fitness bloggers today – with a focus on building muscle.
He keeps his blog packed with information and has a solid following on YouTube with his health, diet and fitness information he delivers for free.
Nia runs a fun blog packed with personality and down-to-earth Health & Fitness tips.
She runs a website targeting women everywhere of all ages on how to get fit and healthy. Some of the blog posts are a little different and unique. Her goal – to get everyone to ‘lift like a girl’.
It’s not just about fitness, but mindset and empowerment that Neghar Fonooni discusses on her blog. Neghar has a loyal following that love her holistic approach to life , health, fitness and promotion of feminism.
Neghar runs a popular blog and YouTube channel.
Bart Kwan of Barbell Brigade has an incredibly popular following on YouTube.
Follow Bart’s antics through his videos showing off tips focused around weight lifting & strength training. While Bart’s primary website is the online store Barbell Brigade, he is one of YouTube’s most popular fitness video bloggers.
Omar Isuf is another video blogger with a passion for strength training and muscle growth.
While Omar’s business is Raskol Apparel, his YouTube channel is packed with informative videos with discussion, workouts and a variety of information. Definitely worth checking out!
Dana Linn Bailey
Dana Linn Bailey is an IFBB Women’s Physique competitor and the first professional in NPC / IFBB history.
Needless to say she has some information on physique development, fitness and muscle growth not just for women but lifters everywhere. All this also helps support & promote her supplement & apparel business.
Bryce is an elite power-lifter and fitness coach who has taken his expertise into the world of blogging and YouTube to share his knowledge.
He runs ‘The Strength Athlete’ and has a loyal following and plenty of information for weightlifters everywhere.
Elliot is very recognizable for his YouTube channels sharing not only tips for fitness and strength but life general. His approach is somewhat philosophical and is very interesting to watch.
Many people who have worked with Elliot have moved on to create their own strong following online! This guys is a heavy hitter i the world of online fitness

CT Fletcher is a fitness, weightlifting and motivational blogger who has a very unmissable online persona.
CT is an extremely colorful character who offers up plenty of advice and insight into his training and his coaching of others, as he “commands his muscles to grow”
Jessamyn promotes body positivity and Yoga on her Tumblr Blog.
Her positive outlook on body image and fitness through Yoga Practice is also reflected in her book Every Body Yoga, and can be a breath of fresh air in a world filled with perfect physiques and unrealistic standards.
Molly is a woman all about becoming a stronger person – both physically and mentally.
More than that, on her website Girls Gone Strong, Molly doesn’t promote supplements and cheat shitty products, she promotes a real path to bettering your health and fitness – training nutrition and mindset.
Christian is another popular YouTube Blogger with a focus on fitness and physique development.
He runs a popular coaching program which has become so sought after you now have to apply in order to possible be accepted to work with him! The rest of use can check out his YouTube channel for some free info 🙂
Chris Jones is one of YouTube’s top weightlifting and physique Video bloggers.
Chris shares his tips as well as the journey through his own training and development. He also sells a variety of programs online to help you achieve your fitness goals.
But his videos are fun and show off his positive personality as well as giving you plenty of tips to get to the next level.
Charlotte’s blog is a little different.
As the name suggests, ‘The Great Fitness Experiment’ is an experiment Charlotte has run for one year – trying everything in one year and sharing the experience on her blog.
This enthusiastic approach is something she has kept up and discussed further in her book The Great Fitness Experiment: One Year of Trying Everything.
An interesting approach and something for those who want something a little fresher.
There’s no shortage of quality Weightlifting You Tubers out there! Matt Ogus is another big name.
With a built and shredded physique, Matt shares the path to attaining a physique like his on his YouTube Channel to his half a million subscribers.
Mark Bell is a power-lifter who offers tips and explores the world of weightlifting on his YouTube Channel.
He also sells weightlifting goodies & protective gear at his website How Much Ya Bench. But it’s not all gear and power-lifting, Mark also has some entertaining videos with antics, motivation and interviews with fitness personalities.
Greg is very well known for his fitness channel Kinobody.
With an emphasis on maintaining a balanced and shredded physique, Greg offers some guidance on keeping a realistic training and diet regimen with an honest approach.
Greg has built quite a following and you can see why by watching some of his videos.
PaleoMG is Juli’s platform to talk about fitness, paleo and CrossFit.
One thing that draws a a lot of people to Juli’s blog is her Paleo recipes – so much that she has a Paleo cookbook out on the market. She’s projects her real personality into her blog, podcast and YouTube videos and is a fun blogger to follow.
Melissa Hartwig is one for major players behind Whole30 – a challenge to eat only whole foods for 30 days as a way of improving one’s diet.
The Whole30 blog is packed with information for people doing the challenge but can be applied for anyone cleaning up their diet. It’s an excellent resource for people looking to take their diet to whole new level of clean.
The master of human movement and an extremely interesting guy, Ido Portal has a simple philosophy to fitness and strength based around freedom of human movement.
There are plenty of very interesting interviews out there and a lot to learn about Ido on his YouTube Page. This is a guy I recommend checking out for his unique outlook – he may or may not be for you.
Jeff Cavaliere is another no-nonsense fitness and weightlifting coach who is out there to help people achieve their dream physiques and finally get that six-pack.
Jeff is a guy who projects honestly and a short fuse for the bullshit out there in the fitness industry and the “shortcut” mentality a lot of people carry. Cut through the BS – check out Jeff’s Blog and YouTube Channel.
This guy was all over YouTube a few years ago making his mark online.
Mike Chang is a guy who is, like many, out to help you get that elusive six-pack. He’s since taken things a step further and is offering advice on life and bettering yourself. Worth checking out!
He used to be with Six Pack Shortcuts, but has since left. You can still find some of his old videos there with some good advice.
Nerd Fitness is a unique community of people out to improve their health and fitness with one difference – it’s targeted at Nerds and Geeks! So in other words, all of us.
Steve Kamb Started Nerd Fitness and has used many geek culture references to get his message across, making fitness knowledge more relate-able to an entire culture of people who want to better themselves.
Yuri Elkaim is a nutrition specialist with a very unusual and tough past.
An athletic guy in his youth Yuri became severely sick and all of his hair fell out and he went throguh life with this illness which destroyed his energy and his ability to lead a normal life – until he researched health and nutrition and was able to fight off the ill effects of his condition.
Yuri is now a sought after nutritionist who helps people improve their health, fitness and overcome the symptoms of such illnesses by preachign the true path to health: a clean diet. He also has an excellent book which I highly recommend called The All Day Energy Diet.
Tony is a funny and highly sought after Fitness expert.
While tony offers some awesome fitness advice, his style of writing is really entertaining and adds a bit of fun to reading his blog. He also offers coaching and some fitness programs if you’re looking to step things up.
Amanda C Brooks
Amanda Brooks is a fitness enthusiast who loves running – hence the website ‘Run to Finish’.
With a lot of information around running, mixing running with other activities and of course, fitness itself in general – Amanda’s Blog is a top resource. She has many great starting points such as learning to run your first marathon and improving running form. Well worth a look if you enjoy a good run!
Adam Bornstein is a sought after fitness professional that catches the attention of many top athletes – including the illustrious Arnold Schwarzenegger in his more recent years.
His website, Born Fitness, isn’t just a blog but a platform for his coaching and consulting business – but his blog is a definitive source of tips to help you reach the next level.
Toni Carey & Ashley Hicks-Rocha
Both Ashley & Toni started their blog to battle growing obesity in the African-American community.
It has since grown into a movement which has attracted many around them to join in and improve their lives. Check out their website to become a part of their mission.
Natalie summarizes her story best: “I lost my house, my retirement, my marriage ended and I gained a lot of weight. I turned it all around, got my life back and became an inspiration to others.”
With a life altering experience that came from a life of health & fitness, Natalie has taken to the web to spread her message and has built a loyal following. She also offers a handful of programs to get you started!
For 9 years Gina has been running her blog Fitnessista offering at home workout plans, recipes and health tips.
She approaches her audience as a wife and mother, helping others in the same situation balance their life and improve their health & fitness. If you’re a busy person and/or a parent then Gina’s site could be perfect for you!
Sarah is a Paleo and health enthusiast who runs the website Every Day Paleo.
She also runs a successful podcast and is a best selling author of various Paleo cookbooks. She is one of the internet’s top bloggers offering a long list of Paleo recipes for those who want to keep their cooking clean and caveman friendly.
With all of these Paleo resources, it’s important to note the man who started the Paleo movement, Loren Cordain.
His website, simply called The Paleo Diet, includes his blog which offers a constantly updated stream of helpful information to make Paleo living a little easier aswell as recipes, books and other handy resources.
Tony Fed hosts a Paleo Podcast and Blog exploring the world of Paleo and health.
Tony takes his primal lifestyle outside of the kitchen and is a personal trainer who has used more natural methods to become pain free and cure some of his aches and pains. If you’re looking for more information on Paleo, this is another top resource.
Scott Herman is one of the internet’s most popular Strength & Fitness video Bloggers with over 1 million subscribers.
Scott doesn’t just explore training but nutrition and touchy subjects like “Should you take steroids?”. This channel is absolutely packed and you can easily get lost in it – but in a good way. No wonder he’s one of the most popular YouTubers on this list!
Eric’s information goes beyond just strength and muscle but balance and long term physical health with a balanced and personalized routine.
But on top of his health tips Eric is also multiple record holding competitive power-lifter – and he shares his strength training on his website. Check out Eric’s site if you want some information on a more complete and healthy outlook on strength training and fitness.
