Fish Oil… Why?
Because you need your fats. Most people are afraid of fats believing it will cause them to gain weight. Because of this people aren’t getting enough fat. Essential Fatty Acids play a major role in the health and operation of your body. Quite often a lack in good fats including EFA’s are a good reason as to why your fat loss or muscle growth has slowed. On top of that, Fish Oil can help with Heart Disease, Depression, Cholesterol, Arthritis and Joint Injury recovery. Also, Fish Oil aids in keeping your brain function normal. Your brain and nerves are made from fats, so Fish Oil helps you think clearer and remove brain fog.
Trying to lose weight? It is reported by the University of Georgia that one of the benefits of fish oil is its ability to decrease fat accumulation by preventing pre fat cells from becoming full fat cells. Recent studies have also found results of decreased muscle loss, an excellent advantage for any athlete.
So why the tablet? Can’t I get it from food?
Well it’s no coincidence that you can get the same benefits from fish, but a tablet is far more efficient and convenient. You can try eating fish every day, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Some fish have high levels of Mercury, an overdose can result in Mercury poisoning, making the tablet a very handy alternative.
So how do I take Fish Oil?
Most Fish Oil capsules have instructions printed on the container. As a general rule of thumb, taking 1 capsule 3 times a day is a perfect way (this also depends on the brand and product – check the container) to get a balance amout of Fish Oil into your diet. It’s that simple. Of course a quality Fish Oil supplement is always recommended, a quality pack like Optimum Fish Oil, or just ask your local health food store.
